Lithuania Expands Its Toll Road Network

Starting July 2025, an Additional 1,151 km of Toll Road Sections

Until now, road tolls in Lithuania applied to 19 national highways marked A1–A18 and A20 (a total of around 1,700 km) and covered only commercial vehicles.
From July 1, 2025, this network will be expanded by 21 regional road sections, adding a total of 1,151 km. As a result, the total length of tolled roads in Lithuania will increase to 2,851 km.

The new regulations apply exclusively to commercial transport of goods and passengers, while private passenger cars remain exempt from tolls. The goal is to create a more sustainable and equitable system for funding road infrastructure, especially in light of the growing volume of heavy vehicle traffic.
